The short version
There's no sign-up: no email, no password, no real names, no ads of our own and no tracking.
If you only play the games, your scores and settings stay on your own device.
If you press 🎲 GET A NAME, you get a random name (like TurboPanda42). Your best scores then go on the public leaderboards, and your friends can see which game you're playing.
Arcade Chat is public.Friend chats are not secret: ⭐ Admin (the arcade's owner) can read them to keep everyone safe. The same goes for 💬 group chats. Nicknames you give friends stay only on your device.
All chat messages delete themselves after 24 hours. Players who don't visit for 60 days are deleted.
Levels you share from the 🧩 Level Maker can be played by anyone who has the code, with your random name on them.
If you allow it, friends can watch your game screen live while you play. You'll see "👁 A friend is watching", and the pictures are never kept.
If you break the rules, ⭐ Admin can see a record of it (like messages the filter blocked) for 30 days, and can suspend you from Arcade Haven.
What you type into the search bars or Ask AI is sent to Google. Never type personal information there.
1. If you only play the games
The games save your high scores, unlocked items (like ships, birds and balls), progress and settings such as sound on/off in your web browser's storage on your device. If you haven't got a name, none of this is sent to anyone. You can delete it any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.
2. Your random name
You can't type your own name. When you press 🎲 GET A NAME (or first chat, add a friend or challenge someone), our server gives you a random name made of two fun words and a number. Press 🎲 NEW NAME for a different one.
Your name is linked to a random code saved in your browser. There's no password, and the code isn't connected to who you are. If you clear your browser data or use another device, you get a new name.
The only name that isn't random is ⭐ Admin. It belongs to the owner of Arcade Haven, and nobody else can get it.
3. Leaderboards and "playing now"
Once you have a name, your best score in each game is sent to our server and shown on the public leaderboards next to your random name.
While a game is open, it tells our server which game it is, so your friends can see "🎮 Playing Neon Tetris". This is forgotten after 2 minutes. Friends can also see when you were last on the arcade.
Scores come from your browser, so the Admin may remove scores that look like cheating.
4. Level Maker and watching friends
🧩 Level Maker: when you press Save & share, your level, its name and your random name are saved on our server with a 6-letter code. Anyone with the code can play it, and it shows how many times it's been played. You can delete your own levels any time, and Admin can remove levels. Levels you only test aren't sent anywhere, and your unsaved work stays in your browser.
👁 Watching: while a friend has the Watch window open, the game you're playing sends a small picture of the game screen (only the game, nothing else on your screen) to our server every 2 seconds. Each picture replaces the last one and is deleted within a minute. Only your friends can watch, you'll see "👁 A friend is watching", and you can turn it off with "Let my friends watch me play" in 👥 Friends.
5. Arcade Chat and friends
🌍 Everyone is a public chat room: anyone visiting Arcade Haven can read what you write. In 👥 Friends, you can send friend requests to other players by their name, and once they accept, chat with them.
💬 Group chats: you can make a group with your friends and chat together. Group messages are only shown to the people in the group, but like friend chats they are not secret — ⭐ Admin can read them. They're deleted after 24 hours, and anyone in a group can report a message with 🚩.
✏ Nicknames for friends: you can give a friend a nickname, such as their real name. It is only saved in your own browser on your device and is never sent to Arcade Haven or anyone else. Clearing your browser data removes it.
Friend chats are not secret. Other players can't see them, but ⭐ Admin can read all friend chats, and can hide messages or ban players, to keep everyone safe. If anyone makes you uncomfortable, stop replying, report the message with 🚩, remove them as a friend, and tell a trusted adult.
To keep it fun and safe for everyone:
Be kind. No bullying, insults, swearing, hate, threats or mean comments about anyone.
Never share personal information, yours or anyone else's: real name, address, school, phone number, email, passwords, photos or social media accounts.
Never agree to meet anyone from the chat, and don't move chats to other apps.
No spam, advertising, links or inappropriate content.
Messages that break these rules are blocked automatically or removed by Admin. Public messages with several reports are hidden automatically, and a reported friend message is hidden straight away for Admin to check. The chat can be paused or switched off at any time.
6. Keeping everyone safe: records and suspensions
For security, every time someone tries the Admin password (right or wrong), the server notes the time, the type of device (like "Chrome on Mac") and a rough location, for 30 days. Only Admin can see this. It's never used for normal players.
If you have a name, our server keeps a short record of rule-breaking: messages the filter blocked (including what you tried to send), messages other players reported, messages Admin removed, and any suspensions.
Only ⭐ Admin can see this record, after entering Admin's password. It isn't shown to other players and isn't stored in the website's files. Each item is deleted after 30 days.
Admin can suspend a player for a set time (like 1 or 7 days) or for good, and may give a reason. While you're suspended, the arcade and every game show a "You've been suspended" screen, and you can't chat, add friends or appear on the leaderboards. A timed suspension ends by itself.
Suspensions are linked to your name's code in your browser, not to who you are. We don't use your IP address or anything else to find out who you are.

We don't save your IP address with any of this. The server only uses it for a short time in its temporary memory, to stop spam (for example, how often you post). Admin's dashboard shows the information above but can't download or export it.
8. Services from other companies
Some parts of Arcade Haven rely on other companies. When you use them, they receive information such as your IP address and what you type, and their own privacy policies apply.

9. More about Ask AI
Our server passes your question to Google Gemini and sends the answer back. It does not save your questions or answers.
To stop overuse, the server counts how many questions each IP address asks per day, only in its temporary memory.
Google Gemini answers the questions. It's Google's free service, so Google may keep and use what you send to improve its products, and human reviewers may read it. That's the main reason not to type anything personal.
AI answers can be wrong. Double-check anything important.
10. What Arcade Haven does not do
We don't ask for your real name, email, age, address or a password.
We don't use analytics or tracking tools, and we don't sell or share your data.
Arcade Haven itself doesn't set cookies. Google's services (section 8) may set their own. Cloudflare may keep basic technical logs as described in its own privacy policy.
11. Deleting your data
On your device: clear this site's data in your browser settings. This removes your scores, settings and your name's code from that browser.
On our server: chat messages delete themselves after 24 hours, and everything else is deleted when you haven't visited for 60 days. To have your name, friends, scores, levels, messages and record deleted straight away, send ⭐ Admin a message in the chat or ask a parent to contact the creator. Admin can delete them from the dashboard.
12. Children
Arcade Haven is made for players of all ages and never asks for personal information. Random names mean nobody has to use their real name. If you're under 13, or under the age your country requires, please ask a parent or guardian before using Arcade Chat, friends, the search bars or Ask AI.
13. Links to other websites
Search results and Ask AI sources link to other websites. We don't control them, and they have their own privacy policies.
14. Changes to this policy
If Arcade Haven changes how it handles information, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change.
